Q: I lost my Campus ID! What should I do?

A: Login in to the MIU OneCard App at onecard.miu.edu and disable your card. This will prevent the card from being used. If you find your card later, you can reactivate the card in the MIU OneCard App.
In addition, please contact the Student Life Office, studentlife@miu.com, and report your lost card. You can purchase a new ID for $10.

Q: Who should I contact if I have questions or a problem?

A: If you have any questions or issues with your MIU OneCard ID, email onecard@miu.edu. You can also use the Help Desk and open a ticket under the 'OneCard Meal Pass Support'. You should get a response/resolution within 3 business hours.

Q: My MIU ID Card was denied when scanned at the Annapurna Dining Hall. What should I do?

A: The Annapurna Door Checker(s) should be able to tell you the reason for the denied response. Send an email to onecard@miu.edu or open a Help Desk Ticket and select the 'OneCard Meal Pass Support' option. You should get a response/resolution within 3 business hours.

Q: Can a friend or family member use my MIU ID Card to eat in the Annapurna Dining Hall?

A: No, you cannot share your MIU ID Card. It is for your use only. The Annapurna Dining Hall Door Checker(s) will be checking to make sure the scanned card barcode is valid and that the person scanning the card matches the account profile/photo.
If you are Faculty or Staff and have dependents, they will be issued their own card for use and can share Block Meal Accounts and other benefits.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of times I use my MIU ID Card during a given meal at the Annapurna Dining Hall?

A: If your meal account is the All Meals, All Lunches or All Dinners, then yes, there is a limit of one scan per meal.
If you have a Block Meal account, then no, there is no limit to the number of scans in a given meal period. PLEASE NOTE that for this meal account each scan constitutes one meal being deducted from your meal balance.

Q: How can I manage the balance of my Block Meal Account(s)?

A: When you login to onecard@miu.edu, click 'Account Management/Manage Account Home/Balances and Transactions' to see each Meal Account assigned to you. You can see the charges, deposits and balance. You can also check your balance by asking the Annapurna Door Checker prior to scanning your badge to let you know the balance of your meal account. You can set up a Low Balance notification for the 'Block Meals MIU Tier 1 Pricing' account. You will get an email notification when your balance falls below a selected number of meals. To do this, go to your MIU OneCard account. Under the Personalize Menu you will see the option 'Low Balance Notification'. Note that the entered minimum balance will trigger a notification when the balance is below that amount.

Q: Is there an expiration date for purchased Block Meals (formerly known as Punch Pass)?

A: Purchased Block Meal accounts like the 'Block Meals - MIU Tier 1 Pricing' account do NOT have an expiration date. However, please make sure you purchase only the amount you wish to use in your time remaining as an MIU Student. There are no refunds for unused meals. You must use it, or you will lose it.
Block Meal accounts that are given to Faculty/Staff as an employee benefit reset each month. They do NOT roll over from one month to the next.

Q: What if I run out of Block Meals?

A: No problem! You can purchase Block Meals on the 'Block Meals - MIU Tier 1 Pricing' account. If you do not have this account, email onecard@miu.edu and request the account. To purchase Block Meals, login to onecard.miu.edu. Block Meals are purchased in increments of 1, 5, 10, 20, or 30 meals. Please make sure you purchase only the amount you wish to use in the time remaining in the given semester/entry.

Q: How does the Low Balance Notification for Block Meals work?

A: The Low Balance Notification is a wonderful way to manage your 'Block Meals - MIU Tier 1 Pricing' account. You will get an email notification when your balance falls below a selected number of meals. To do this, go to your MIU OneCard account. Under the Personalize Menu your will see the option 'Low Balance Notification'. Note that the entered minimum balance will trigger a notification when the balance is below that amount.
